Brake Disc help!!

Featured Replies

Hey guys I need New Discs in front and looking at DNX's they should fit my Octi vrs 02 but for some reason they dont make pads for skoda's! What would be the best pads that will fit, at a good cost on the net?

Check whether or not they do pads for Golf IV with the same size and caliper.

Failing that, Mintex M1144 or Ferodo DS2500 are the usual recommendations hereabouts.

I've just fitted a pair of Zimmerman cross drilled discs (which appear to be owned by Brembo as the Brembo logo is on the box, and also mentioned in the fitting instructions) and a set of Mintex extreme pads on my 2003 Octy VRS, I can only say I'm very impressed with the stopping power now.

I bought them from German and Swedish (GSF Car Parts, cheap car parts direct to you), they don't actually list them for the Skoda, but as mentioned previously they are for the MK4 Golf with the same brakes (312mm).

All in including the governments cut they came to £169.00.
