Just a quickie ( ooh er ) :)

Does anyone else experience the following symptom.

Switch radio, or CD or attached MP3, once on M/way decide to increase vol by 1 or 2 notches, it suddenly jumps an additional 5 to what i wanted.

Find the track may be too loud, decide to drop 1 or 2 , same again , jumps an additional 5 to what i wanted.

BTW ,yes the GALA is definately off.

Steve

Yes, me too

And also crawling along it can go very loud for a couple of seconds at random

yeah gayles furby does that too! even if your turning it up or down by a few is jumps about seemingly to whatever volume it wants!!

new aftermarket head unit will be on her shopping list no doubt

The volume goes up on mine when I'm reversing, but all other times it's fine.

This is probably a bit of a long shot but is it anything to to with the Traffic Annoucement feature kicking in (incorrectly) - this has a separate volume setting in the menu which is set quite high as default ?

damn right it's hellish you're trundling along, turn up the volume and it either springs way over the volume you want or darts back down to 1. Hopefully i can replace it soon, speakers rattle when its turned up too. Anyone else find that? Kenny said you have to take off the whole door panel to replace them but it wold be worth replacing both the speakers and head unit to get rid of the current annoyance.apart from that the cars great.
