Bailey Vs Forge?

Featured Replies

HI

I HAVE A BAILEY DV30 FITTED AT THE MOMENT IT SOUNDS COOL BUT OCCASIONALLY PUTS CAR IN LIMP MODE, WHICH CAN BE ANNOYING.

IVE HEARD ABOUT, AND BEEN ADVISED TO BUY A FORGE 007P AND TURN IT AROUND FOR A COOL NOISE AND RELIABILITY.

WOULD ANY1 RECOMMEND 1 AND HAS ANY 1 GOT A SOUNDCLIP OF THE NOISE AT ALL PLEASE:thumbup:

I FITTED MY OLD BOSCH DV THE OTHER DAY AN EVEN TURNED THAT ROUND, THE NOISE WAS OK BUT QUIET IS THIS THE SAME AS 007P?

LOOK FORWARD FOR ANY TIPS/ADVICE:thumbup:

Welcome to the forum. You might want to try posting this in the octavia mk1 section.

The reversed forge valve gives a kind of a chirp and aint that nice.

I don't know why the dv30 should put into limp mode have you done an error code scan?

NOT YET, IVE BIN MEANING TO BUT ITS OK AFTER THE IGN IS TURNED OFF AND BACK ON.

IT ONLY SEEMS TO GO IN LIMP COS IF YOUR DRIVING HARD THEN BACK OFF SLIGHTLY THE DUMP VALVE STAYS OPEN, SO YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF FULLY THEN BACK ON.

I FITTED MY OEM DV THE OTHER DAY AND THAT STICKS OPEN, ONLY HEARD IT COS HAVE FORGE TIP FITTED?
