Slight confusion in this owners mind....

I want to upgrade the shocks but not the springs on my vRS.

The only FSDs I can find for the Mk2 on Koni are listed as 'Octavia Sedan excl. 4WD'. Now, the shocks on the RS (i assume) are shorter than the other models. Hence some concern about mismatching shock and spring lengths. i.e are the Koni Octavia 2 Shocks listed generic to all Octavia 2's?

Problem 2 - Its an estate. Do we know for sure the Estate and Hatch use the same rear springs and shocks?

The only difference between RS and others is the diameter as far as I know.

I believe that the hatch and estate use the same shocks.

Same FSD's for both Hatch and Estate vRS and have a dia of 55mm iirc. If you do a search and you should be able to dig up more information but I think you'll find that most if not all have been delighted with the results when fitted with FSD's
