Does anyone have a software version of either a technical/workshop manual or owners manual for a 2006 Superb 1.9TDI that they would be willing to share ???

As far as I am aware there isn't one and the closest guide you will find would be from a Passat B5.5.....

There's a guy on e-bay that sells a software package called ELSAWin for only a few pounds. It is the software used by all VAG workshops and includes the manuals for the Superb. I bought one some time ago and whilst not exactly comprehensive it can be very useful and does include procedures for removing and re-installing most major components and has exploded view diagrams etc.

Haynes manual 4279 (Passat '00 - '05) covers the 4 cyl Superbs reasonably adequately.

However they still dont have the electrical wiring diagrams for Elsawin.

Its a pity coz i need to find out how to wire some of my items. Like my side fender signal lights as my signal light is not intergrated into my side mirrors.

two more very newbie questions ....

1. where is the fuse box on the superb ?

2. how do I enter the radio security code (if there is one) on a rhapsody radio ?

thanks in advance

Fuse box: unclip the end panel of the dashboard, visible when you open the driver's door.

radio code: later radios are coded to the host vehicle and will only work with them. There is no need to enter a code.

any finally the last questions ... for now anyway ...

1. is there a code number supposed to be with the ign keys (to allow new ones be cut / programmed) or is that something that a skoda dealer can do from one of the existing keys.

2. how difficult is it to get new "anti-theft adaptor" for removing the allow wheels ?

3. is there a special adaptor / tool for removing the 5 plastic covers on the individual wheel nuts ... can I just buy one of these at a dealers ?

thanks in advance for any answers / help.

1, Yes there is a four digit pin number for your immob. if you do not know the pin( will be on a white folding plastic tag, with the immob number and code).

a dealer will have to hook your car up to their VAS 5051B and via a btack sever to skoda uk will be able to code the keys. they will not see the code.

2, The OEM alloy wheels have two styles of locking wheel nuts, you local dealer should have the master set of both, and will be able to determin which fits yours.

This is a simple U-shaped piece of plastic that can be bought from the dealer no problem..............

Valheru, all these questions, you haven't stolen one have you?

no ... but sometimes it feels like I had. Still waiting on the "books" from the dealers, but at this stage it's not looking good !
