Please can someone advise how to remove the front bumper on my Octy, without doing any permenant damage (i.e. not like how Jason removes his.....)

There's just a bunch of screws you need to undo. Didn't think there is much to it.

You also need to pop out the ends of the black molding strip as there are bolts that are hidden there that bolt the ends of the bumper to the wings.

'pop' out the ends of the moulding strip? how is this done? screwdriver and hamfists?

Start with all the screws which have heads on them a bit like the allen keys, but more pointy - theres a technical name for these but I don't know it! There are loads of these screws:

on the top of the bumper between the lights,

underneath the bumper,

attached to the wheelarch liners and

and probably behind the two side grilles (which just pull out)

No need to undo the 13mm bolts you will see behind the side grilles

Next, gently use a screw driver (wrapped in cloth to save marking the paint work) and prize the black rubbing strip out at either end to reveal the two retaining bolts on either side of the bumper.

I think these are 12 mm, may be bigger, so undo and your bumper is not free to carefully lift forward and clear.
