What's the matter with it? Surely it beeps once to let you know it's armed, and that's it?

Think I'd prefer to have it on, so at least I'd know when the alarm's armed. Does it also beep when you disarm the alarm?

It beeps once for armed and twice for disarmed. so you can really annoy people with lock/unlock and opening the boot

Had mine turned on - liked it for about 3 hours then waited 6 weeks to have it turned off - it was hell - don't do it!

It is an irritating beep like on a watch alarm, only louder. It gets annoying if you are constantly unlocking doors, although it is handy when you lock the door as you can do it as you walk away and this tells you that it has locked.

That's the reason why I want to have it enabled!

Don't think it'll bother me - won't be constantly locking/unlocking doors all the time!
