Yea I'm talking about the Skoda, when you find out theres an issue with a part why can't they just hold there had up and say that theres a problem and replace it.

IIRC over 800,000 VAG vehicles were affected - and that adds up to a whole lot of money to replace every suspect coilpack.

Skoda customer care {in the UK} are sh*te. Also you get different advice from dealer to dealer, 4 days before Bruntingthorpe i had a coil go.The dealer in Hounslow said they would replace the faulty coil but NOT the others.

Geoff {Monkeyhanger}mentioned that Skoda UK Had agreed to replace all affected coils so a call to my favorite dealer in wandsworth confirmed what Geoff had said.

Mine goes in on the 24th to replace said coils and to have a new DV fitted as it decided to throw a wobbly today :( Maybe time for a Forge one}
