no issues with rear wiper or squirter

does not recognise drivers door as been open is only other issue to sort

bit annoying as keep leaving lights on

Sorry for the delayed update. I contacted Skoda Customer Services (08457 745 745) and explained that the car was recently out of warranty, I had always had the car serviced at a main dealer and that just after Xmas 2008, it was a very unwelcome cost. I asked Skoda if they would make a goodwill offer and after a few calls, Skoda offered to pay for the parts so long as I paid the labour. Total cost to me was £160 so quite a result.
