Parking Sensors FUBAR

Featured Replies

When I select reverse now, you get the warning beep and then a solid tone (like you'd get if you were up close to something) that doesn't stop until you leave reverse.

Any ideas ? These are the OEM Skoda ones.

nah its not that, however they do work for a bit if you apply pressure to them so it would seem that there is a loose connection somewhere

I had this problem now I get a short tone when selecting reverse but then nothing more. I called Skoda about a possible control unit failure and was told that it is more likely to be a faulty sensor as they get through quite a few of these but have only had one faulty control unit in 3 the last years. Cost for Control unit I think was around £76 cost for one sensor £74, it could be more than one though so could wrok out expensive.
