Well,

You may remember that I put a post up thanking Bake21 for his help with finding some wheels. We have eventually bought some 18" BBS Audi A8 Split Rims from Germany. They arrived on Friday and I cleaned them (not much they are mint) and fitted them yesterday. They have 235/40 Dunlop Sport Max tyres which have plenty of tread.

Both Carolyn and I think they look stunning on the car and really suit it. Totally transforms it. :D:D

Trouble is she now wants it lowering.

They aren't as bad to clean as the OZ Futaras on my old esprit. I had shares in Autosol lol!!

We were always going to lower it, Just might be sooner rather than later.

Might go with window tints and also some black satin vinyl on the window pillars??

Maybe better in the fleash Superbs seem to be better suited to deeper dish alloys..

The FSD/Eibach group buy that JKM are running is a perfect opportunity for lowering... worth getting on the list, I'm certain they are available in Superb fitment, they certainly do a B5.5. Passat

Well I am glad to see that they fitted and any chance of some close up pics of the wheels against the arches from the rear? How is the offset as this will effect your lowering options......

The colour suits the cars well and I like the look, get it dropped and it will look even better................

Thought I had better comment personally on my new wheels.....I think they look cool and they do change the look of the car completely :D

The car will be lowered soon (when funds allow) but I have also noticed that especially compared to the VRs the brakes look tiny :( may have to see about an upgrade when they next need changing!!
