bonnet lifter

Toad Alarms

Brake paint

oh and how to spray paint alloys??!!

cheers :handshke:

- Alloys you send them off as DIY won't last as the paint will come off unless you have them spotless before you start.

- Tints can DIY but you usually end up with bubbles so I'd get them done professionally.

- Detailing have a look on detailing world

- Brakes you want a 312 conversion. Golf Turbo sells these.

- Bonnet Lifter, devonutopia

- Brake paint, foliatec I think do a range of colours or hammerite smooth green.

- Tyres, try falken 452, cheap and IMHo very good.

- Mud flaps are a dealer item you get the normal one and a search on here shows how to make them fit.

- I prefer clifford but if you go to the toad website they will list installers in your area.

- Sound depends what you want doing really some can be DIY, more is somebody on here who does a lot or again ask a pro.

More or less what Mark said, apart from two things.

Toad alarm - Don't waste the cash as the Fabia vRs is a CAT1 alarm built in.

Tyres - I'd agree with Falken 452's, but the last time i looked (only a few months ago) they were not avaliable in the Fabia vrs tyre size,

Didn't realise the Fabia had a cat 1 already, in that case no point wasting your cash, put it towards the insurance or tyres.

Other tyres that are supposed to be good are Vredestein Ultracs if you can get them in fabby sizes. Failing that have a chat to sharkrider as he has tried a few out on his various cars.
