Octavia 2.0TDi Owner says hi

Featured Replies

Hi,

I bought a 10month old Octavia Elegance 2.0TDi last year.

We chose the car because it is an absolute pleasure to drive, and plenty of features, plenty of room in the boot and has the reliability of VW/Audi engineering. (a rebadged VW basicly)

When I was test driving a new one from the showroom it had a jackplug under the armrest to plug in an mp3 player. When our car got delivered I noticed it was not there and spoke to the slales person, who said it's not an optional extra, and showed my the catalogue, he didn't know why it was not there and could not explain why it is in some cars and not others. He suggested we source our own cable and route it into the glove box like he did with his audi as the skoda cable is about £100. I am just doing some research into stereo removal and fitting of the cable amongst other owner maintainance.

Welcome to briskoda, The jackplug is a recent addition to the spec,

Welcome
