Really weird

Featured Replies

I keep trying to log on to a certain site(Moss Europe car parts)

Every time it opens,IE just tells me it is experiencing a problem and immediately shuts down.I get this with no other sites I visit at all.

Something about Digital product ID which could be used to identify license and IP address.

I have looked at the site before without problems.Just seems to have suddenly started doing it.

Any help appreciated.Desperate to buy something !

Thank you P.S I'm a computer numpty as you can guess

If its moss-europe. co. uk (without the spaces) I've just managed to open it without any problems.

So it appears its your PC rather than their site.

Can't help beyond that though sorry

Cheers Andy.

It opens fine then as soon as I click to look at the section I want,it closes

Unless its something to do with Norton thats stopping me.Just odd I have no problems with any other sites at all

Might have to make an old fashioned phone call:)

It'll be one of Nortons useless security 'features'.

My Dad's mate had a similar problem. He couldn't work from home because a lot of his work related sites wouldn't work properly.

Turned out Norton was the problem. I took it off and everything worked fine.

Norton is a turd. I'd ditch that and get AVG or Avast for free. If you want to pay for one than NOD32 is small and fast.

Ditch IE for Firefox (free) to block pop ups without screwing everything up.

And add Zonealarm (free) if you don't have a firewall on your router.

Adaware, Spyware blaster and ASquared (all free) will take care of other nasties for you.

Cheers Andy.
