Horners Cost price plus

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the above is ? Had a letter from Horners and was curious what they define as 'Cost price' ?

It'll be just what it says - the price that the dealer is billed by Skoda UK for that vehicle.

On my Octavia II it was about 9% off list price.

Probably to boost flagging sales and assist in achieving a high monthly target. These offers were fairly common last year.

Is it new and does it have the Jumbo pack etc?

Margin is 8% normally (with additional 2% retrospective manufacturer bonus for each quarterly sales target hit).

Obvioulsy, the manufacturere can also add further special offers such as equipment upgrades or low rate finances or other inducements to the dealer or direct to customer.

Bickertons had this one last year. I got a Scout for just under £3K of list.... shame the ex has it now.

Then again she's paying for it so it's not all that bad.
