OK people think i have a wee problem starting on my superb(well i hope not)..

i have a superb 1.8t, when i drop it into 2nd gear braking and turning at the same time i have a nosie,, it sounds like the starter motor turning but not catching(spining sound) if you know what i meen. this was only happening first thing when she was cold but it now doing it hot and cold but not all the time. Has anybody had this before or fixed this before,,

Without hearing it, it sounds like the aux drivebelt is stretched and as you turn the wheel the belt is effectively juddering, other than that maybe the steering pump is on it's way out.
