Blower problem and damp carpets

Featured Replies

Bit of a problem, with the climatronic set to draw external air, you can hear the blower working fine from the passenger glove box, but no air is coming through the vents?

If you set it to recirc air, it's fine although mists the windows pretty quickly :(

I've checked the passenger front carpets and they're soaked

Now I had a windscreen replaced a while back, so am thinking this is the most likely cause for the damp carpets but what about the blowers? Is there something blocking it? Is it a coincidence ?

Any thoughts appreciated - don't know whether to phone Autoglass, or get it into Skoda to have a look at the blowers?

A wet pollen filter would restrict the air coming into the car. It may be getting wet because the plenum drains are blocked, resulting in water getting in through the filter and soaking the carpet.
