Aftermarket ICE on 05 Furby

Featured Replies

Evening all, Just been looking on another post and cane accross something that stumpt me.

When fitting an Aftermarket head unit, the power connectors must be swapped and an arial amp purchased is this true as wanting to put in my jvc dvd in at the weekiend

Cheers all:thumbup::D

Indeed it is true. In the headunit wiring loom the red and yellow cables normally have bullet connectors in them and you swap them so each cable is half red half yellow. You can get by without the arial signal booster, but your reception will be pretty rubbish.

You will deffo need a signal booster unless you live in the middle of a big city

great.

The wire switching, is it the wires on the head unit, or on the existing wires on the iso that will need swapping?

cheers

It's the wires in the headunit wiring loom.
