Try using Firefox... Much better :D.

Otherwise check your security and Privacy settings under 'Tools'... Hope this helps.

So it was working before you registered with youtube? How odd, what else did you do? What about other flash sites, do they still work?

Try downloading the newest flash player / plugin from adobe's website and installing that whilst your browsers are closed.

Hi

I'm guessing you are using Vista?

There's been a slight glitch in a recent flash install which means it installs but doesn't seem to register properly.

You will need to do a full uninstall of Flash see Adobe KB article

And then try to re-install it. If it still doesn't work it's probably worth uninstalling again and having a look round for a standalone version to install rather than the automatic web install.

hello, would use firefox but dont want to confuse the ol man with it.

yes was watching it fine, signed up then no good, litterally thats all i did, wasn't doing anything else on the computer at the time.

Not vista, its xp home.

have looked in my security settings, like i say they all allow where needed.

its also doing odd things like taking AGES for a page to load if it has script adverts or anything like that on it.

I'll be honest and say the computer probably has some spyware maleware etc etc on it but its so random.

please any ideas?

Just Google for 'spyware' and 'freeware'

AdAaware is pretty good - but shareware.

Tons of stuff out there to remove spyware, malware - just search.

I use AvastPro as an all-in-one - they do a 'limited' freeware version for home use.

Others will be along soon to offer other alternatives................

i dont think its down to that too much because it was random and nothing new was downloaded when it happened.
