Readiness Test.

Featured Replies

Hi, Just a quick question. How long after fault codes are cleared should the readiness tests be 'Passed' in VAGCOM? Cars done over 1000 miles and Oxygen Sensor(s) Secondary Air Injection and Catalytic Converters are still failed or incomplete.

My car seems to hesitate/missfire quite badly between 2000 and 3000RPM. I have noticed, i think it was on block 32, the second field was at -5.5%. I believe that indicates that the car is running rich or is this normal?

I have no fault codes listed at all

Readiness code should complete after two drive cycles. Which is cold to running temperature.

Everytime the fault codes are cleared this will reset this and the test will need to be completed again.

If there is a missfire then there is an issue that needs to rectified, what coil packs are you running?

Thanks for your reply.

I had 2 coil packs replaced about 3 weeks ago. They were the original ones that came with my 02 VRS i believe. I have checked blocks 15 and 16 i think it was for miss-fires, but nothing. Could it be the other 2 packs are playing up? It's fine on full throttle.

It's been alot more than 2 or 3 drive cycles. Possibly more like 40 cycles. Could this mean i have an Oxygen Sensor related issue?
