Something Better

Featured Replies

To report, did the brakes all round today, went to GSF and paid 42 quid for both sets, gets home, bonus, all the pads have new bolts and sensor wires, something VX used to charge on top for and not cheap for a wire, anyway fitted em and the place where I used to get the pedal vibration has gone completely, pad backings were the same, but the friction materials were differently profiled, anyway happy bunny today thx to GSF.

Buy all my parts from GSF and they are very well priced............

Very efficient, reg number so theres no mistake etc, if only GSF made Skodas eh?

The availability of pattern parts from GSF and similar outlets combined with the development of VAGCOM diagnostic software was a major factor in my decision to buy a Superb.

I just hope that, should I bend it, the supply of body parts holds up given its miserable market penetration. I wouldn't rely on VAG keeping these available for, say 10 years hence.

The mechanical bits will never be a problem, given the number of B5.5s produced in Europe. (There might be a shortage of V6 diesel engines when they've all failed though).

rotodiesel.
