Right is anyone having the same issues that I am having,

Right when I had my oem stereo in and I turned my volume up the sound used to cut's out until I turn it down. I then replace my oem stereo with a DVD head unit and it does then same thing.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening is it the speakers?

Sounds like some sort of safety circuit. Do you have the bass turned up?
