Coil Springs - replace in pairs?

Featured Replies

Hi,

My car has been making an odd noise from front driver side, dealer has diagnosed a fractured spring (don't know how as I'm careful).

A new spring is on order and will be fitted under warranty, however, is it a good idea to replace both front springs, car is an 03 plate, would there be a difference in ride height, stability, etc. if only one spring was replaced?

Thanks

I would insist that they replace both as ride height and stability could be affected.

Yup, warranty only usually replace one but i'd say do as a pair.
