Installing a new gadget on Vista Sidebar

Featured Replies

I'm running the Vista sidebar on XP and have a new gadget I wish to add but no idea what I should do with the file once it's on my PC.

The file is called AppLauncher*****.gadget

What should I do with it ro am I being very blonde today?

Tried that but it complains there is no file association - I'm wondering if it doesn't work due to me running it on XP.

Sorry not sure but suspect it's a distinct possibility given the nature of vista!

I'll have a look to see if I can find out any more info. Better still, someone with much more knowledge about this might come along and help as I'm also wanting to add to the sidebar!
