I am toying with the idea of getting a diagnostic tool and can't really afford VAG.COM so whats the verdict on this item? It would seem to be the best of the code readers but is it worth it? VAG405 Pro OBD II 2 CAN Bus Trouble Code Reader Latest! on eBay, also, Diagnostic Tools Equipment, Garage Equipment Tools, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-Apr-08 22:19:32 BST)

Looks ok that one.Better than others for sale on Ebay which are cheap and nasty.

Isn't a VAG-COM licence about the same price if you buy a cheap cable?

Well all that device seems to do is read codes , so why not get a cheapo cable and use an older free version of VAG-COM?

Hi. I added an image for clarification of the problem. As you can see in the video there are 2 lanes on the screen, even sometimes it becomes 3 lanes. But for my car there is only 1 lane. I guess there is a setting which i can not find. Can you give me information about this issue. How can i do my car's screen like this. Thank you.

My recirc flap is ticking and not moving as far as I can tell. Would it be dashboard out to get to the motor and flap mechanism?

Hi All, I'm new to the forum, this being my first post. I am loving the community so far. I have not long ago got a new to me 2016 Octavia Scout. ODBEleven is showing a P047000 'Exhaust Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit'. I did a little searching around has not found much about this exact fault code. Does any one know what the fault is or can point me in the right direction please?

Hi, Today whilst pulling out the dipstick to check the oil level on my Mk1 VRS a 1cm or larger piece of the dipstick plastic on the dipstick handle (just below) broke off and went down the dipstick hole before I could grab it. As it was so large is it ok to leave in the sump until the next oil change (assuming it comes out) or is it going to be a big issue? I had to drive quite a long way today also after this happened. What is the likely outcome of this being in the sump? Would it melt? W
