Hello to all. Good to find there is a community supporting Skoda owners.

I have recently bought a 2001 Fabia Estate 1.9Tdi and am very pleased with it so far.

I previously owned a 1995 Citroen ZX estate 1.9TD which got up to 216,000 miles before I decided to quit while I was ahead. When researching for a replacement, I discovered that the newer Citroen engines are nowhere near as rugged and reliable as the block in the ZX. I was attracted by the reliability reports on the Fabia and, of course, the excellent VW engine. Hopefully I will have a good experience with it, time will tell!

ive recently brought a skoda fabia VRS dude ive killed loads of cars lol and got a good MPG out of it when droven like a granny! never looked back since :)
