Skoda Roomster FL (5J) and VCDS

Featured Replies

Hi!

Here's what I found out you can do in the Roomster FL with the VCDS cable.

- Dial staging, ie the needles sweep to max when you turn on the ignition. This is how it looks in the dark: My link

This is found under module 17/Adaptatation and the option is called staging. Select "Active", click save and the dials will start sweeping!

- Show the setting of the cruise control - this replaces the total driven distance when the cruise is on (or activated) and the car is moving.

Module 17/Adaptation and something like "cruise display". Select Active and click save.

Here's a pic where it shows in the bottom left corner:

The version of the Central Electrics module is a newer one, and currently the VCDS documentation is a bit out of date regarding this. I have not tried the latest beta, so it might be included there. If anyone knows what the bytes and bits mean, please post here so we can collect all relevant data at one place.

A small update:

It's also possible to

- calibrate the MaxiDot fuel consumption display and

- calibrate the fuel gauge position (only +-10 degrees)

and both these settings are found under module 17-Instruments -> Adaptation
