I tried this on a brake carrier and it just disolves the rust.

Im going to be using this to sort out some of my rusty rapid bits and thought it may be of interest to folks on here.

I have used it before with excellent results. Unlike other means it can get in and eat rust in places you can't reach. Like unseizing rusted tools.

its an awesome thread isnt it, did it a while ago on some g60 calipers, and it really works!

got myself an old charger and a nice big plastic tub alongside a load of old discs to have my own rust conversion facility!
