New headlight bulbs for my Fabia

Featured Replies

Im going to buy new headlight bulbs for my Fabia elegance.

Does the Fabia have H7 in both the main beam and the high beam? Or what H does the fabia have in the headlights?

H7 in both. I recently had Philips 12972-XVS2 H7 X-Treme Vision put in my new Fabia for the main dip lights and even the salesman commented on how much better they were than the originals. On Amazon in the UK they sell for around £20 a pair.

Thanks for your reply, im looking at Phillips or Osram nightbreakers.

Yeah im thinking of getting them from Amazon, basicly half the price compared from Sweden.

Should i buy one kit of 2pcs or even 2kits with totalt 4pcs to put them in the main beam and also the high beam? Or is it not worth upgrading the high beam?

You'll need 2 sets, so you've got 4 bulbs in total, 2 for the dip beams, and 2 for the high beam. I went for Osram Nightbreaker+ and they are much better than standard!

I looked on this link http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/44957/tested-over-50-cent

The Philips was the top performer. At £20 they are not cheap, so just replaced the main dip and left the high beam as standard, because my main concern was to improve the quality of light from the bulbs that get most use in my part of suburban Britain. I believe that Bosch's Pure Light standard replacement H7s are also very good. They are around £12 each on Amazon.

+1 on the Philips X-Treme Vision
