Centre dash trims

Featured Replies

Had a bit of faux suede material left over as i got more than i needed to do my arm rest so i could look at wrapping some other things if I wanted too and i decided to wrap the centre dash piece, gear lever surround and the panel i made to replace my ash tray as I thought it would be a bit different than using vinyl :)

Here's a few pics

Think it turned out ok :)

i think it did too, nice job!

whats the stuff you used, and how did you do it?

looks like its taken to the contours well!

Looks really good m8

Daft question, why did you remove your ashtray to fit a volt meter?

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!

I would show you the wrap I did in my old BMW.

Carbon Di-Noc. Took near enough 5 hours to do, burning fingers, but it looked awesome.

If I find a way of up loading or linking it then I shall let y'all know

Oet I used faux suede off eBay,only a few quid and was bought mainly to do the arm rest, fabric is very thin and just used spray glue and wrapped it around, may not last very well and may come unstuck to be honest but it's no big deal if it does :)

Raf,I never removed the ash tray just to fit a volt meter lol,the gauge was out of my old car has been out of site in the ash tray for about 8 years like this

and it would of stayed that way but a couple of months back I had the interior in bits to dry it out the ash tray lid got broken off whilst been stored so just made a blank panel and put the gauge on top as the panel would look a bit plain without something in it.

And pro warp I used to have real carbon wrapped around the dash trims

but it lifted in a couple of places so got rid and was bored of seeing carbon anyway but I'm sure yours looked great :)
