Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with my Bluetooth connection to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S2). The phone connects perfectly, and works perfectly too - but it doesn't seem to want to load the phonebook to the stereo. I may as well NOT have bluetooth in the car the way it is because I have to search for numbers manually on the phone instead of on the stereo screen! Cops don't like that!!

I've tried deleting the phone from the car completely, and re-connecting it like first day, but it still didn't load the phonebook. I also resetted the stereo to Factory Settings, and tried again, still nothing.

I'm at a loss, maybe its a phone setting but I can't figure it out. if anyone has any idea's, I'd love to hear them please.

Can't you use the voice dialling on the S2?

My Columbus did this with my s3. Turned out it had asked for the code on pairing to access the phonebook and I'd entered it on the phone but didn't tick a box to access the phone EVERY time.

I reset the module in setup phone restore factory settings and it asked again for the code. This time I ticked the box and it was fine thereafter.

It might have been that the box should have been unticked and I had ticked it, but should be obvious. Hopefully this will work for you.
