Hello. Going to be changing my cambelt and water pump next week so just sorting the shopping list out.

I went to eurocarparts and they quoted £164 for cambelt kit and water pump and coolant. Should I just go with that. The other option I have is pay £375 to get it all done at VAG specialist.

Also does any one have a link for the specialist tools needed?

I'm sure the code is one of the reason for freedom thats why its on the freedom section but people give it willy nilly - I may be wrong.

Similar discount codes are available on other forums without having to pay for additional membership. I don't think he is giving away much by providing the Briskoda code.

That said, try speaking to your local TPS dealer an ask for the Trade Club price for the genuine parts. If they want the sale and have targets to hit they may give you the trade club price.

Just my advice...do NOT buy a timing belt kit from eBay. If you are unlucky and it fails during the 'warranty period' you will have a nightmare trying to get it resolved.
