  1. Li does not eat rubber. Silicon grease melts too quickly
  2. is the vacuum pump ,I have it too What oil do you use 5w30 or 0w30?
  3. You can try to clean yourself with a spray can made by Wurth, cost about 40pounds and you risc nothing. These dpfs are pretty easy to clean 1.With cold engine unplug the pressure differential sensor hose and spray the entire can 2.Let it soak 3. Unplug Maf sensor to disable the low pressure egr. 4.Start the car and rev the engine to the max 2500rpm for 3min 5.Plug the Maf sensor and drive car for 15-20 miles and keep revs high. Do this propperly and you have high chances to unblock it.
  4. the egr cooler likes to leak coolant inside and to replace it on a DSG car is a very hard job,add 4x4 and is a nightmare. Me and my friend wich is a very skilled Vag mechanic took us 9 hours. The dpf with adblue is a good, mature sistem, with some care and propper driving won't give major issues. I bought the car with 120k miles and DPF partially clogged.I managed to restore it easy enough with some propper driving and some Liqui Moly aditives.
  5. thanks for replys My car is LHD and bought second hand with the user manual in german(wich I don't understand).
  6. how do you activare side mirror do dip when select reverse?
  7. I'm an audiophile and canton owner I consider it more than good enough on Tidal via wired Android auto Bluetooth sounds not so good...I allmost never use it Is balanced ,is dynamic,a bit on the lean side, the mids are good enough I listen from classic, jazz to edm,techno...deep house The sub goes under 50Hz i can bet. My home NAD-Wharfedale system is superior but is not that dynamic for electronic music and I miss that sometimes
  8. You can also pressure test the intercooler directly ,is very concludent. Don't focus too much on testing the entire system at expansion tank...in many cases with a cold engine will hold pressure (1.2bar) over night and shows nothing. My bet is on one of theese two ,egr cooler or intercooler One more important thing...after each intervention the cooling system is very very hard to propperly bleed. In my case after replacing the egr cooler and bled with VCDS it took 10 days to settle the coolant level.I added every 2 days 100-150ml.I thought I had another leak but no
  9. I had the same coolant loss issue, was the egr cooler.Bought Mahle aftermarket part wich of course was an OE part just under half price. You can check that pretty easy by removing the turbo pressure pipe to egr cooler,if you find a thick film of gunk inside the pipe wich is coolant mixed with exhaust gas that's it.
  10. I think the engine is pushed by the remap way over and adding a caravan is killing it. Reputable tunner in my country said to me there is little room to remap this engine (wich I also have) safely and reliable. His advice was for best reliability was:"don't do it" or max 205 HP if you really want
  11. I don't know and don't care at all...If I find by accident and is easy to fix, dirt cheap I'll do. This engine wich I think is a good one souds very bad at idle. The vacuum pump sounds like grinding at low temperature ,the flywheel has a light clatter noise also, the exhaust flap rattles like hell sometimes (I sprayed some cooper lube and I guess is gone)....all are normal. I had another squeak with the timing belt tensioner, but I replaced the kit and is gone. It takes 10 to 20km to propper warm up the engine and to get quiet. The good part is none is present in the cabin.
  12. mine has the same sound and I think is the wastegate flap inside the turbo.
  13. Hello friends! Some help needed to understand the dpf values for my 2.0tdi 190 Why 2 values 17 and 4 hPa ? 17hPa is at idle and at 2500rpm goes to 95 hPa wich I guess is a bit high. Car runs fine, pulls great
