IulianE's post in Replacing Valeo alternator with BOSCH? was marked as the answeraaaand YES ,the Bosch alternator is a direct replacement,same plug,just fitted it and runs good.
In my oppinion Bosch alternators are way better and way more reliable,my Valeo has under 100.000 miles and inside is very worn,the shaft is eaten.
But Bosch alternator came from a scrap car (God knows how many miles) and inside is like new,the shaft has allmost no wear.
