  1. Issue appears to have resolved itself. Rear washer now jet spraying on middle of rear screen, and not "following" wiper. Strange!!
  2. Hi, Think i may have an injector either leaking or on its way out, as car has developed a slight "lumpyness" when accelerating, not throwing up any error codes. Before spending money at local diesel specilaist. Would like to check out with VCDS. Now I know that I'll need to go into "Engine", and choose "Advanced Measuring Blocks", as the protocol is UDS, there are loads of options all begining "IDE00xxxxx". Which of these options are required to check the Fuel rail pressure, and the Injectors. Have read a couple of articles, where to check the fuel rail pressure, you need to get the engine temperature to >80c, turn off the engine. Then via VCDS you can see if the pressure in the fuel rail increase over a number of minutes due to the residue heat in the engine heating the fuel in the fuel rail, if it doesn't increase it points to a "leak" . What I've read doesn't say wether this test applies to deisel or petrol? So question is what UDS "IDE options" to use, and does the pressure increase in a diesel fuel rail increase once the engine is turned off due to residual heating from the engine? I'm sure others will find the answer of great interest. Thanks in advance
  3. Hi, Yesterday. Instead of staying static and spraying onto the rear screen, the washer jet is now following the sweep of the rear wiper. Any ideas on how to fix?
  4. Varaderoguy, Thanks for your reply. I already have VCDS. My problem is that using VCDS as the Skoda Superb II is on the PQ35 platform. When accessing the Cental Electrics (Module 9), and going to Byte 18, the lighting options. There is a mask of '00' hiding the set-ups, if you overwrite this with one of the HEX options, readily available on VW / Skoda forums, you run the risk of screwing your lighting settings, and maybe not being able to recover. Hence why I'm looking for someone with either VCP or ODIS. Have tried a number of dealers, and they either don't know how to enable this option, or won't. Phoned a number of local independant VAG coders, and they are also none the wiser. Surely there must be someone on the South Coast who has done this!!!
  5. Anyone with VCP or ODIS, in Hampshire / West Sussex? Willing to pay.
  6. Hi, I would like to visit a previous post, i know that VCDS cannot enable rear DRL's on PQ35 based vehicles. Is there anybody in the Portsmouth / Southampton area, who has the equipment and experience to enable this function for me? Thanks in advance
  7. Hi, Just upgraded my columbus head unit to the DAB version. Have a temp screen DAB antenna, looking to replace with the 6R0035501D base, and 6R0035849A whip antenna. Can see from the post by Slater7 that additional FAKRA cables are required, do you have a part number / link for these? Cheers
  8. Have a MY2013 Superb Combi, with Columbus 3T0035680S. Looking to fit a Low Line reversing camera. Found this whilst searching the web. The part number is 1T0827566B, and fits the following VW models VW Tiguan, Touran, Sharan, Passat Wagon. Now will this fit in a Superb MK II Combi Tailgate without having to mod the hole?
  9. Looking to fit a reversing camera to my Superb Combi MK2 MY2013. Have a Columbus 3T0035680S installed. Found this kit Low line version, 1T0827566B for a Passat B6/7, will it fit in place of my current boot handle / release, without having to mod the hole?
  10. In the process of upgrading my Columbus (3T0035680S) to a DAB /DAB+ unit (3T0035686N). I have VCDS so will do a scan of the original fitted prior to removal. I want to be able to keep the same displays / functions in MFD when I swap the units over. I had the current unit replaced under warranty, and when I got it back from the dealers, a fair number of MFD options were missing, so they had to recode. How do I use the scan to recode missing functions (if any) when I put the "new" unit in?
  11. Hi Fishlex, Now after having the radiator, main thermostat, secondary water pump and DSG thermostat replaced. It now takes about 5 miles (@ 50 mph) on my daily commute for the engine to get to 90C.
  12. Had the "DSG Thermostat" changed. Garage was unaware of this issue or the fix. All working fine now, temperature goes to 90C and stays there.
  13. Looks like I have the same issue with my 2013 Superb Combi 170 DSG. Radiator developed a leak due to corrosion, and as the car has done 184k got them to change the main thermostat as well. Then it started throwing up warning lights, so had to have the secondary water pump replaced. Got it back from garage yesterday after them having it a week. On a long drive (150 miles), the water temperature has being going up and down during the course of the journey. So looks like I need to get this changed.
  14. Hi Having done a recent scan, came across the following error code. Have tried clearing it, but it's still there. Any ideas, phone works.
