Got an ongoing problem with the turbo, Sticky vanes no doubt, Keeps going in to limp mode (overboost).. Anyway got thinking about the EGR pipe which I've disconnected and the crankcase breather pipe. Surely it cannot be good for all that oily stinking gas going back into the engine. Engine warning light on as EGR disconnected, No big deal come MOT time, Just plug the vacuum pipe back in an reset via VCDS to switch light off.. But what about the crank breather, Is it ok to unplug that and stick a filter on the end ? What's everyone else's view on this feeding thick smelly oily gases back into the engine,,
