PEkoSI , Will make a video over the weekend. The signal are standard bulbs along with the fog light. The LED is only brake and tail light...
Folks - Really sorry for the delay here. Have a video that is on the other half's phone but it's 29MB in size so she couldn't gmail the file. I've tried to share with google docs and that didn't work.. Finally I'm going to get her to upload it to photobucket tomorrow. Any other suggestions?

I got all work carried out in "Dublin Tint", they are a great bunch of lads, reasonable too.

I picked up an elegance in Ireland and the down lighters in the mirrors were missing... Funny that as they were in the late mk II models over here

How much was the grill change and where did you get it
I ended up just getting the black wrap on the front grill. I was too late in getting the Black pack. The pictures don't do any justice to how good it really looks in the black. One of my favourite mods...

Roof looks very smart
Out of interest, how hot are the police on window tints, those fronts look very dark, any potential issues with having to remove them if they're over a certain percent?
In Ireland the maximum allowed for the NCT ( UK MOT ) is 30 % . I got 35% on the front and 5% on rear. If I was doing it again I'd go 35% on front 25% rear. May look a little like a comercial

Is this normal or sport suspension?It turns out it's the normal suspension, had requested Sports suspension but ended up with heated seats instead. Somebody must know something I don't know about the coming winter

Nice car, take it headlight washers are not on the Elegance spec in Ireland?
I actually thought they were included but after inspecting they only come the Xenon headlight set... Bit peeved off but I'll get over it.

After a very long waith I finally have my Octivia home.
I've made one or two mods from when I collected the car. It's a 1.6 diesel elegance with a few extras. Coming from a 2011 2.0 Octivia I have to say the performace is emm average at best - speed is fine but torque is absent. Other than that I can't fault the car. Pictures below were taken in the rain so may not look so good. Thanks everyone on the site for the input, you've all being a great help when specing.

I changed it to look like this, I was to late to get the black pack.
LED Rear lights ( again in rain ) - Will updload a video tonight when I get to make one
Booth insert is something worthwhile

Those are LED tail light strips for sure but you will have to make a video of other lights (turning them on/off) to show what they are. Standard lights will be dimming in/out (still quite fast) while LEDs will just turn on/off instantly...

got a response from Skoda UK saying footwell lighting is not available in the UK and will not be fitted.
I spec'd it into the Octivia I picked up today / really good feature... Well worth the €14 I had to pay

I wanted the heated windscreen but ended up having to get the heated seats as well to get the package. Weird!

Black pack would complement it. Get the black grill and mirror caps !!
Too late to get the black pack... shame cos It'd look the business.

Have I mad one major error...
My Octavia elegance in the garage which is now ready for collection. I asked the garage to drop it down to get the window tint carried out as I've had in my previous mark II Octivia. When I was there I started to talk to the guy that carries out the work - Before I knew it I had agreed to getting a black gloss roof along with the window tint
The external spec is as follows - Elegance, Candy white, 18" Golus, Sports suspension, LED rear lights, No engine label.
With the mix of Candy white / Black roof along with 18" Golus and tinted windows look OTT.
What's the thoughts folks... It's not to late to change my mind on the roof.

Personally it doesn't bother me. Having the stop and tail lamps as LEDs are the most important as they are seen far more often than any of the others and make the statement, style wise.
I agree to an point but deep down I feel a little bit shafted that the siginal/indicator light is not LED... Anyway, I'll stick up the pictures on Thursday when I collect.

Ha ha, That's nuts... Not me I'm afraid.
To make matters worse, a girl from work is after specing a mk3 exactly the same as mine... So much for being a little different.
