Hi guys, Will putting above size tyres on my 1.9 TDI estate 2007 mk1 fabia cause any damage. Will there be enough clearance on top between the tyre and suspension strut? I am not concerned about off roader look as profile is quite thick at 65. They are going on standard steel wheels. Many thanks in advance.

Just an update for all the guys who contributed to this thread- sepulchrave and wino and TMB to name a few. Thanks for all the advice given. As per advice given, I had filled up the power steering reservoir (which was completely empty) on 12/05 and have been driving since. Now, one month has gone and power steering has been fine. No leak underneath the car but I have not had it on the ramps. I will check the level of power steering fluid in a few days when I get a chance to see how much has it dropped.

Hi there, Hope everyone is coping well with the current lockdown situation. As the title suggests, my steering rack is leaking from passenger side gaitor and steering is starting to become stiffer and stiffer. I believe there are 3 or more variations. Is anyone here kindly able to tell me which one I need or ideally the part number? Thanks
