Sussed it. Rocker switch on side of stalk then the ok button underneath the stalk.

Hi all got a query re the voice control for phone in my Monte Carlo tech. It quite often misunderstands my accent & shows a selection of names it thinks I might have asked to call on the dash display and asks me to choose 'manually' - no controls on the steering wheel. Help! Thanks

Hi all I'm loving my Monte Carlo tech but have a query about the voice control for the phone. Car misunderstands my Scottish accent quite often, especially this week as I have a cold. Anyway, it shows me options of names that it has guessed I've said on the dash display & asks me to choose the correct one 'manually'. How do I do this? No controls on the steering wheel as it's the tech model Thanks

Hi folks thanks for the replies & welcome. Spoke to the garage & they confirmed what you were told brown fox - Skoda rules a car must be registered within 10 days of arriving in UK. Not to worry just means I'll get my new car earlier.

Hi folks looking for some advice. I've ordered my first ever new car (been driving the same lovely polo for 12 yrs!) anyway, ordered 1.2 tsi Monte Carlo tech in white. The car is not yet registered or in the UK however it should arrive next week. The dealer knows I'll be on holiday & won't be back until beginning of August. My question is this - what would be the likelihood of the dealer holding off on registration until Sept so it's a 63 plate? Do you think this would be possible? Although I'm super excited about new car I can easily wait until Sept if this would be possible
