  1. I know that. As I said earlier LEDs was taken off the table, since they are not recommended for main beam. Why do you meen they want last long? There is'nt room for LEDs with fans anyhow.
  2. ...as well as the color of the light. Much whiter and better looking, wich was part of the reason for doing this in the first place. Had to replace the original xenons as well, as they started to get pink. Went for 6000k instead of the OEM 4350k.
  3. Pics taken from the dealers website. I would say the light output is radically enhanced.
  4. It was raining cats and dogs last night, but I managed to take a couple of pics. Have no "before" pics...
  5. They are 35W, but I have'nt tested them in the dark yet. Did the job yesterday, and took a beer to celebrate😄 Will be tested to night, though. But I am not worried, because the high beam bulbs are just helpers. It's the xenons that are doing the job. So I imagine that with xenons as helpers as well, the pattern will be the same, and the light will be much brighter. But I will be back after testing to night.
  6. Job done! Went for xenons on high beam after strong recommendations from the dealer. So now I have all 6000k lights, except for the fog lights. They will follow, and they will be replaced with 6000k LED.
  7. Hi. Has anyone tried LED replacement for the high beam on the 3T4? The car has bi-xenon headlights, and I believe tha the high-beam bulb is a H3.
  8. Just a little update. The car is still running, with the same gearbox! No glitches, no problems. Sometimes you just get lucky.
  9. Seems that I only have the navigation-DVD, not the SWL... so basically I'm f****
  10. Hi, guys. Is it possible to upgrade/update the firmware directly to the HDD, via a PC? My DVD-drive is dead, and my unit seems to be stuck in a loop. I have the original DVD, but that wont do me no good, as long as the drive is defective. I have taken the HDD out of the unit, and I can read one partition via an USB adapter connected to my computer. It contains a folder named Speech and one named DVD. There are also a textfile called HDDFILES. I know there is another partition on the HDD for the music, but that is not visible from Windows...
  11. Yeah, my bad. It was from above, but I don't have front sensors. It seemed like it was warning me about the car next to me. It was a tight spot... But should it even do that without the front sensors?
  12. Hi, folks. Discovered something strange when parking my 2009 Superb MK2 today. The PDC has always shown a picture of the rear end of the car on the Columbus screen, when I am backing into a spot. But today it showed a sideways view of the car, and the screen said something about OPS. It has never done that before, and didn't when I tried again. My car has only the rear sensors, so why did it warn me about the side of the car?
  13. Hey, 3T1704X4 How do you get in there? Should have been inside my passenger side mirror to find out why it wont stop when folding out, but I am afraid to start working on it.
