  1. Hello Thank you for your latest response. Allow me to explain, until such time as my husband has decided whether or not to sell at all, there would simply be no point in anyone travelling to view his truck. As previously mentioned in my earlier posts, we would simply have appreciated an "expert" ball park guidance re value. We had thought that taking a brief chat with an appropriate person over the phone would have been a worthwhile start point. Should anyone with the appropriate knowledge in respect of the Felicia pick up truck wish to provide a phone number we would be happy to call. Thank you once again for your assistance.
  2. Hello Due to an ongoing medical situation, photos at this moment in time are impossible. If there are persons on Briskoda who are genuinely possibly interested they could of course provide a phone number and we will talk. My wife is kind enough to type this for me as I am useless with a keyboard (older person who predominantly uses a good old fashioned telephone for communication). Thank you
  3. Hello Thank you for your response. If you would like to provide me with a phone number I will call and we can talk. I am not very good with the keyboard, the phone in my opinion is a far better method of communication! Thank you
  4. Thank you for your reply and information. Are there any Skoda pick up “experts” within the group who may be able to offer a guide in respect of value ? This is not the usual pick up in terms of condition and should I decide to sell, I would prefer it went to a person who will understand it’s comparative rarity. Any assistance, guidance and suggestions would be appreciated. Regards

  6. Hello All I have a Skoda Felicia pick up, owned for many years that could possibly be of considerable interest to the members in this group, should I decide to sell. If I do decide to let it go to a new owner, would I be correct in thinking that Briskoda would be the best place to advertise the pick up for sale ? Thank you.
  7. Hello all, Can anyone assist in locating the brackets/hinges/ nuts/bolts for a Mk 2 Felicia Pick Up tailgate? Many thanks
  8. Hi there I hope you found the correct bully net. Do you happen to have any of the bolts, brackets for the tailgate that you no longer need? Thank you.
  9. Hello All Does anyone have or know where I would find a new or low mileage Felicia 1.3 MPI engine? Thank you
  10. Wanted Skoda Felicia or Caddy Pick UP / Cube Van Hello All, We are absolutely sure someone can assist with this. We are seeking to buy a Skoda Felicia Pick Up, Cube Van 1.3 or 1.9D, alternatively a VW Caddy Pick Up 1.9D. Must be Mark 2 - 1997 to 2001, in top condition either oroiginal or correctly restored. As there are so many knowledgable and informed people on this site we are sure someone will know of a suitable vehicle. Thank you to anyone who may be able to help.
  11. Hello All Really begining to struggle now, feel its difficult to justify the price of a new ECU, if that's what it turns out to be. A used ECU with matching numbers appear to be available on the internet for circa £30. Would a used ECU require re programming to match my car? If so, how would I best achieve this? Are there any independent garages/engineers that anyone could suggest/recommend in my area Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, that would undertake this? Having spoken to two auto electricians they appear not to have the relevant software, or maybe they don't want the job. As there are many knowledgeable people on this forum/site, I am sure someone will hold the key to solving this issue! Many thanks
  12. Hello All To continue my saga and once again seek further advice and guidance. The car remains running in limp mode with the engine management light illuminated on the dashboard. This despite the Skoda main dealer having today removed and replaced the engine bay sub loom, at a cost of £395, this has however failed to correct the fault and we remain in limp mode. They are now advising further exploration of an additional section of the engine bay wiring. Should this not be found to be the cause of the fault they indicate that it could possibly be the ECU itself. There is an obvious limit as to the value of continued expense in respect of this 12 year old car, albeit that I treasure it and I would welcome any further thoughts, views or pointers as to possible next steps. Thank you.
  13. Thank you both for your advice and guidance, this has been most helpful. As neither myself nor my husband can solder to any standard one may deem as acceptable, I will now give some further thought to my next steps. Having bonded with my Fabia which has still only done 18,000 miles from new, I intend to persevere until resolved!! My husband remains puzzled at my preference for the Fabia as I walk passed the SLK! Thank you again.
