problem with start/stop button
captainslogg replied to steve1k's topic in Skoda Kodiaq MKI (2017-2023)
My button started playing up like yours. Had it replaced under warranty before it ran out Think it may be a common fault. -
If you buy Milenco mirrors then you will need to change the standard pads to F-pads available from the caravanshop. Copied from another site (2018) I tow a Coachman Pastiche 460 with a 2015 Skoda Superb Estate Mk3, using Milenco Grand Aero mirrors. I did have a problem last year with one mirror fixing slipping off the door mirror – the door mirror is slightly bevelled and also has an indentation between the body of the mirror and the rim. It may well be that the Kodiaq mirrors are of similar design. My problem has been entirely solved by the use of the Milenco Aero F pads, which have a small ridge on the face of the pads, which fits into the indentation on the door mirrors. These pads are well hidden on the Milenco website and I have not seen them well publicised. I got mine from www.thecaravanshop.co.uk , where they are stock number 4664 and cost £6.95 plus £1.95 p&p. Well worth it for peace of mind.

Picture of a Witter towbar (car not loaded) which seemed too low for my 2014 caravan on my 2012 170 yeti. Van towed very much nose down, but completely stable.

This may not be much help if you are not computer savi -
Just be aware that the Kodiaq roof rails are wider apart at the front than the back

I use Milenco mirrors,. You need to change the standard pads that grip the mirrors for Milenco aero f pads, available from thecaravanshop. They make a world of difference. Fix to the top of the mirror and you can keep the folding function

Saw a Kuga with these extras clipped on to the rear mudflaps. Made from an old white plastic container. Only used when towing a caravan

Sorry Bob. I cant be any more help

I think you can get to it using a long 4 mm allen T bar. Don't know whereabouts it is on the engine. Not seen it done myself so cant be 100% sure. Is the crank sensor faulty or could it be a carboned up throttle, a known fault on this model.

My 2012 yeti 170 had this problem at four and a half years old, 32000 miles, before the fix. Put right by my local Dealer (D.M.Keith Bradford) at no cost to me. Skoda Paid. Throttle body cleaned and a mod done to stop a reoccurrence. They also replaced the throttle sensor and the accelerator. Had a loan Skoda Superb whilst Yeti was off the road. The car had a dealer full service history. Good luck Voxmagna Picture from internet

paul 52. spray the rods with silicone oil

I didn't notice mine had stopped working until I towed the caravan to the dealers for its service. Front wheels scrabbling when setting off uphill on a wet road. Turned out that the control unit had failed or so the service receptionist said. Replaced under warranty.

Is Corrida Red a Solid Colour or is it Lacquered?
captainslogg replied to Expatman's topic in Skoda Yeti
My candy white is not lacquered, maybe its just the metalic colours that need the protective coat.??? -

Try very fine wire wool. Its cheap as chips and won't scratch the glass. Saw it on one of those youtube videos. Used it myself
