  1. it should fit, the hardpipe was in a 53mm id hose when I got it. not sure what clamps ive got tbh, think there from sfs but ill look at changing them thanks. cheers for all the help again!
  2. you my friend deserve a medal. ive ordered 2 bits so it will run: 90° silicone bend 57mm straight pipe 57mm inside the above straight silicone reducer 57mm - 51mm straight hardpipe 48mm inside the above. am I right in thinking that'll all fit now?
  3. no, the ones that fit together are both silicone, its goes: 90° silicone bend 57mm straight silicone pipe inside the above straight hardpipe 48mm inside the above. ideally I want a 57mm-51mm hard piece. am I still making sense?
  4. does it matter if I miss out the coupler? as the top intercooler pipe is a good fit in the turbo silicone bend?
  5. Thought that but cant seem to find one anywhere! I think I just need a smaller one. im using an allard boost pipe which ive just bought, and im hoping to use the intercooler pipes that ive got with the fmic. so if I can find one that goes 57mm to 51mm im on to a winner.
  6. ok but do you know what its called? as the bigger end is too big for the intercooler pipe so need to order a smaller one. god this pipework stuff is a ball ache!
  7. does anybody know what this is? and how it connects to other pipes? my silicone hose connects to the thin part but I can't work out how the other bit connects. this bit connects to another one of these which comes out the bottom of my top turbo boost pipe. hope this makes sense.
  8. lol, im not gonna pretend I know what im on about im so confused. however, I think after 2 days and your help im nearly there! I need some way of joining my egr delete (54mm outside diameter) to my 90° bend (57mm inside diameter) as when you tighten the jubilee clip the hose creases slight. is that right? next, I need a way of joining my 60° degree silicone bend (57mm inside diameter) to my intercooler pipe which has an inside diameter of 53mm. am I as close to finally finishing this as I think? lol
  9. ok so if I went 51mm silicone, id need a 57-51mm reducer, and 48mm hardpipe? or 51mm hardpipe? ideally id like to keep and reuse the intercooler pipes so is there anyway to make it fit?
  10. ok spot on. i'll order a new set of 57mm boost hoses for the intercooler then cheers. any idea on what size hardpipes? would i want 51mm?
  11. now im really confused lol. will the egr delete fit the top boost pipe? the chap I bought it off made his own pipework. its from sfs hoses. I think im going to replace it all anyway so could I buy it to match the boost hose?
  12. So it appears asking a question has given me another question, have i messed up and got the wrong hoses? i've bought an egr delete kit that is 57mm and a top boost pipe from allard with silicone bends that is also 57mm. however, the intercooler pipework that came with my forge fmic has 53mm bends (which i must have measured wrong) and 48mm hard piping. will this all fit together? or have i messed something up somewhere?
  13. ah thanks. are the 57mm or 53mm?
  14. Thanks mate, have you changed these hoses on yours? and do you know if they're visible in the bay?
  15. ive already got the allard one. im on about the other turbo pipes.
  16. So the remap has gone out the window for the time being. I got offered a forge fmic, wide mouth front bumper, milltek turbo back exhaust with decat and some coilovers at a fantastic price which I collected last night. Safe to say it was a tight squeeze in the back of the fab! The coilovers will be going on after the wrap and i'll also being spraying the wheels as a temporary fix until I get some new ones (unsure on what yet). My engine goodies will all be going on and getting mapped in during the summer, probably July, August time as I want to save up for a hybrid turbo and new clutch as well. I'm hoping to hit 230bhp.
  17. Ah ok, i've been told that sfs do a set which comes to about £214 with 2 hoses, so i'm not really sure how many i'm supposed to get or anything. I've got the Allard top boost pipe, these are the lower turbo hoses as fas as i know.
  18. Has anyone got a turbo hose kit? Not managed to find anyone with yet and i have a few questions. I've found the 2 below: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221356079733?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D221356079733%26_rdc%3D1 http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/silicone-hose-kits/car/skoda/fabia-00-07-vrs/2004/samco-performance-silicone-turbo-hose-kit-blue-2-hoses-2 But there are 2 completely different hoses pictured, so what does what? lol. If you have one which one have you gone for? Or is there a different one on the market that's cheaper/better? Also, does anyone know the dimensions of the hoses I would need so i could potentially make my own kit? thanks,
  19. I think i know which ones you mean, i'll have a look tonight. did you have the same problem and thats what you did to sort it then?
  20. recently fitted a new headunit and for some reason it never saves the settings on it when i turn the car off and back on again. thought it was something wrong with the unit so took it back and got a completely different one, but i've still got the same problem. anyone know how to get round this? probably missed something really stupid lol.
  21. No updates for a while now... I was really thinking about keeping this as a works car and buying a clio 182 to play with, but after test driving one I just preferred the fabia! So the car has remained standard however the future is bright! Just had my allard boost pipe come and im waiting on an egr delete as well, the car is booked on at jabba in a couple of weeks for fitting and a remap. Also got a new head unit which was a pain in the arse to fit. The car is also booked in for a full wrap in a couple of months, but I'm not revealing the colour, it's different to say the least! In the mean time im just tidying bits up and buying the smaller bits to make a difference.
  22. Think i'm in the same boat, i'm looking at some 17 x 7.5 wheels, will they fit?
  23. Ok well the main reason I want this anyway is for looks and not performance. Does anyone know if it will be a straight fit?
  24. Sorry, fabia vrs. I do like the look of it so im happy to pay that, and from what ive heard a normal panel filter would only add 5bhp with a remap tops?
  25. I'm thinking about buying this off ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271054615425?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D271054615425%26_rdc%3D1 Does anyone know if it's a straight fit or what it will be like? As i can't seem to find anyone running one. Am I right in thinking it will just need a CAF fitting to it? thanks.
