  1. Awesome transformation. I wish I could afford them (or at least the wheels).
  2. Has happend to me lots of times... I'm fed up with this, so I don't do anything for the time being....
  3. There is a soft.client to download there...Can this be used for NA cars?
  4. Very common. They will find 16955 DTC if it is this.....
  5. It depens in which part of the world you are.... Mine were about 140 quid....
  6. :orb_upset:orb_upset:orb_upset it's ok no offence....
  7. I scanned the following fault. I reset it but it keeps appearing. No problem with the car whatsoever.... I couldn't trace the fault code (my dealer also.....) Control Module Part Number: 6Q0 937 049 D Component and/or Version: 0000 BN-SG. 1S34 Software Coding: 25610 Work Shop Code: WSC 00001 1 Fault Found: 01117 - Generator Terminal DF Load Signal 27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
  8. first off all I used vag-com 311.2-N for the rest just follow steps 1. From Common select the Engine button (01-Engine). 2. In the screen that will appear, If I remember correctly, there is a button (08-Meas.Block) press it. 3. It will appear a screen where you put the measuring blocks that you want log. You can log up to 3 blocks at the same time. Just put 120 in the first box and press "Go". This will give in real time the engine RPM and engine Torque (in Nm) 4. At the end of the form there is the "Log" Button. Press it and define the file where the data will be written. That was the vag-com part. Now I would suggest doing the measurements together with another person (seating at back). I took the measurements in 3rd gear. Actually from 1st gear I went directly to 3rd gear and I logged the data from low rpm up to 6200rpm. When you reach the revs just press the clutch and wait until your speed drops. 5. Stop the data logging. Now the Excel part. Rename the file to .txt and import it to excel. Import it as comma (",") delimeted. In order to calculate HP you need to convert Nm (torque) to Foot pounds. Then use the following type to calculate the HP in PS. HP = Torque * RPM / 5252 Use a XY Scatter chart to graph the results. Hope I helped a bit. Takis
  9. Hello, I used vag-com to log block120 on my fab1.4 16v and I got the following results. I took the measurements at 3rd gear.... How reliable are these readings? I know that the measurements are in the crankshaft and not at the wheel...Any indication how much are the losses? My fab is chipped, with green twister air filter, new headers and new exhaust as well... Your comments will be appreciated
  10. Local tunners here in Greece have already dealt with this
  11. Hi, just yesterday I got the indications shown below while cruising, any Ideas? The handbrake light was flashing (which is quite unsual) and the ABS,ASR were on. The dealer's scan didn't show anything though.... I found a post http://www.briskoda.net/forums/t20909-abs-and-wheel-speed-sensor-fault.html do you think that it might be relevant?
