Nope!
I haven't put a CD in the Bolero on mine for over a year, but it stills makes the noise.
My Mondeo does a similar thing. Good to know my newly ordered Yeti will be similar

They look cool and since they use a lot less power than an old fashioned bulb, you save, I guess, 0.000000001 mpg as well.
Cool is good enough for me

Sporky is almost there on the price difference. Delivery charge is £510 inc. VAT.
The breakdown goes as follows:
Difference: £1,380 - less the following:
Warranty £640
Delivery £510
1st Reg Fee £55
First Years RFL £175
Hope that helps
Yes it does. Thanks

(especially for an Outdoor model that it looks as though you are going to use for towing - caravan?) and in the Yeti they don't look out of place.
Towing a horse trailer as it happens.

Rubber mats are what I want but they are not on the configurator. But dealer said he could change textile to rubber ones
As for the price difference. I hear what you are saying but £1400 price difference beats me.

Below is the spec of Yeti I am thinking about. My question is why the difference between Total Price and RRP? It doesn't seem to be the difference between the base price and options added. Are Skoda recommending a discount on their own product??

Looking good. I think i will spec them when I order my elegance.
-
Err? No.
How can the "normal" bulbs still be there when they are replaced by the LED units?
LED units are said to react (eg:Light) quicker than filament bulbs, plus they draw less amps, so put less strain on the electrics.
Ah ok. I haven't seen them in person. I saw some Audi LEDs last week and thought they looked like an LED sugar coating (so to speak) mounted on top of standard bulbs.
-
longevity?
I expect the normal bulbs are still there as well. So maybe not.
-
They look cool!
Good enough for me!
-
Just wondering if the LED rear lights option is worthwhile. Are they just cosmetic? Or do they serve any other purpose?
-
Will let you know.Good choice, be interested to see what they say about matching.

I have asked my local dealer to see if they can match it. Fingers crossed.
Am looking at a 170 DSG Elegance in Jungle Green. Test drove a 140 DSG on Saturday. Loved it!

I have just been offered the same discount through carwowI got about 6% discount through Carwow on a F/L Yeti Elegance with 0% finance and 3yr free servicing ordered Middle November, but i had to order with Alex Lawrie in Liverpool 100 miles away to get this discount.

I got about 6% discount through Carwow on a F/L Yeti Elegance with 0% finance and 3yr free servicing ordered Middle November, but i had to order with Alex Lawrie in Liverpool 100 miles away to get this discount. My local dealer couldn't match this and even sent me a txt telling me to take the deal even though I wanted to buy locally. A friend has ordered a new VRS hatch with the local dealer but seemed quite miffed when I him what discount I got. IMO you have to shop around so that you get the best deal, that rule applies with everything these days. Happy shopping!
I would be happy if the local dealer could give a reasonable discount say 3 or 4 % (plus a competitive price for my trade in). I just don't want to be told they can't give discount because of the 0% offer when I know there are significant discounts out there if you shop around.
-
Wow! 7% would be a major result!
-
Thanks. Excellent. Just what I wanted to hear. Hope the dealers are as generous with the FL.
-
Hello all. I have spoken to Jonathan Lawless at carfile.net (very nice chap btw) this week who confirms their Skoda dealer can offer 5% discount when buying on the 0% Skoda Finance deal.
Has anyone had any joy with asking their local dealer to match it or come close to it?
-
Forest Green?
Yes I think so
-
Why have we suddenly taken to quoting the Highway Code when the topic is yeti FL?
Sorry. Just replying to manxskoda's post.
-
I always thought that it was illegal to drive with foglights on, unless visibility was less than 100mtrs.(Rule 133 Highway Code)-re Wakev,s 51 post.
Tony
Rule 236
You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (see Rule 226) as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves.
-
I know I'm in a minority but the fogs always put me off the yeti , I'm one of the few who think the facelift is a real improvement !

Makes sense. Thats probably what I read on another thread.I think the mirror position is different not because of heated screen ( I now have the heated screen and it is the same as was on my elegance which didn't have it) I think it comes with the auto lights and wipers both of which rely on sensors behind the mirror.
-
Fair enough. But apart from better screen resolution what does a Columbus give you over an Amundsen?Personally, I'll not be buying another car without built-in satnav so Columbus is a must-have. I'm really not bothered about the sunroof, but I'd really baulk at the principle of paying more for a lower-spec vehicle, which is where we're heading with the Elegance option. Wheels, I honestly couldn't care less about - anything will do and preferably 16".

I have gone for the Elegance with extras (heated screen, silver rails, Amundsen, LED lights & MDI).
Reason? I wanted the 170 DSG
