Got 18000 Miles out of my SC2 but has no tread left on the front, have now had Dunlop Sport Maxx RT's fitted, brilliant tyres, loads of grip on the wet roads, nice and quiet too.

This happened to mine this morning, no route was planned but had checked the traffic problem that was displayed on the map. what has been the response from people who have contacted there dealers about the issue?

am having the same thoughts on this, i like the idea of the Carbon fibre Look rear lip protector but unsure if i should just stick with black as i have the black pack.

Had a stone strike yesterday. Right in the bottom of the screen so didn't notice anything until a 3 inch crack appeared. Auto glass will replace but waiting for them to confirm when as they have to order the screen.

i had similiar with mine, i got an agreed P/X price for my vRS, but it was a lot lower than i was thinking. as i had a few weeks to wait until delivery i put it up on Gumtree and preloved. doesnt cost anything and i had time to waste. got a few enquires though also got a few scammers get in contact. in the end i came across a garage actively seeking vRS estates. went to see them and they offered nearly double the P/X price. it was a car they new they could turn around quickly and make a small profit on. worked out well for me. once i had the cash i just contacted my skoda dealer and said it would be a cash deposit not a P/X, he amended the paper work. a little effort that paid off very well for me.

Just phoned Rearguards to ask the question, the lady on the phone couldnt give a date, just that they will be working on one and to keep checking the website. not a huge amount of help but i like the idea of getting a Carbon look boot sill protector.

It's a personal choice but I really like it, the demo car I drove had red stitching and for me it just stood out too much, I like the subtlety of the grey/ silver stitching.

Will do though will be a while as the British weather has really set in today and is raining. Once dry will post some photos

So yesterday was the day I have been waiting for, the day I finally collected my new TDI vRS and with only 9 miles on the clock! The spec I went for was; Candy white estate Black pack Sunset glass Colour maxi dot Amundsen sat nav Spare wheel Grey stitching Anthracite wheels Personally I think the exterior of the car is a different league from my previous mk 2 vRS. As other people have stated it is slightly Audi-esq but I don't think it's a bad thing and it still retains it's own style. The black pack and honeycomb grill look brilliant and really set the styling of the car, On the inside the quality and updated feel continues, the seats are a huge employment, firm and supportive yet very comfy, the same as the ride, firm but without being bouncy on bumps. The Bluetooth functionality is great, for both hands free calling and music, yes it doesn't display album art but I'm not really bothered by that, though I was concerned after some other posts saying you can only change the music on the phone, luckily this wasn't the case and using the controls on the steering wheel will change the tracks. The sat nav has impressed me so far, easy to use, very clear and good functionality, it shows you traffic updates, auto zooms when approaching junctions. Clearly it is early days but as I get used to it I am hoping it will only get better. It's a shame Skoda didn't add the satnav and cruise control as standard but otherwise it's hard to fault the car, and am looking forward to many more miles in the car.

Ordered on the 26 July, collected yesterday, so 11 weeks from order to delivery, felt a lot longer though. And now I have it was definitely worth the wait

Like a few responses on here I ordered my vRS with the Amundsen sat nav, i was unsure about ordering it as previously just used the sat nav on my iPhone. I collected my car yesterday and went on a long drive to see some friends, using the sat nav i was nothing but impressed, the screen is clear though I prefer just to have the directions come up on the colour maxi dot display, when it is on the main display directions are clear and it auto zooms as you approach junctions. It also provides you with traffic updates on route. Having finally used it ( albeit briefly) I am impressed and am happy that I have made the decision by having it fitted, yes £550 is a lot and would of been good to see the colour maxi dot included.

Cheers, that is a definitive checklist, have just had the call that my car has (finally) arrived at the dealer so will be heading over this afternoon to do the paperwork, hopefully be collecting it for the weekend.

Cheers for your thoughts on this guys, Am starting to become slightly frustrated, was really hoping to get the phone call from the dealer today letting me know it had arrived, but alas nothing so far, it was meant to arrive at the dealer, at the end of last week, and arrived in country the week before. Surely taking nearly two weeks from dock to dealer seems longer seems along time for me. Rob

Morning all. After some advice from those of you that have already collected your cars, I am hoping to be picking the keys up to my mk3 vRS this week (Candy White, black pack, sunset glass, colour maxi-dot, Amundsen sat nav and full size spare) Are there any areas that I need to be aware of/ pay particular attention too when picking the car up. This is the first new car I'm collecting and am aware I need to moderate my excitement and just taking the keys with checking it over. Any help and advice is much appreciated.

Just Heard from Skoda UK that mine arrived in Country last week and wil hopefully be arriving at the dealer today or tomorrow, fingers crossed i can have it to play with at by the weekend. Car was ordered 26 July with a few extras, if i get it by friday then thats 10 weeks from order to delivery, not too bad i guess

Have just sold my 57 plate pre FL vRS Tdi estate in race blue and currently awaiting delivery of the Mk3 Tdi vRS estate in Candy white, hopefully it has been built this week with delivery in early Oct Cheers
