No interest before it reluctantly goes on to ebay and Gumtree? Fits all 2.0 tfsi engines for any other VAG owners lurking about.

Unfortunately the noise just isn't for me anymore. I prefer the more subtle sounds of the cars standard induction setup. Great bit of kit though

I have for sale an Autotech induction kit for a 2.0 tfsi. It's been fitted for around 6000 miles and was purchased from garage midnight in January. Excellent condition and fairly easy to fit. Instructions for fitting are available on the Autotech website. Also includes the stainless steel heat shield which was purchased separately also from Garage Midnight.

Looking for around the £100 mark posted.

A friend of a friend on FB appears to have put porsche rims on his VW van. Yours by any chance?!

What about changing to the red top coil packs? Mine certainly idles smoother since fitting them although I didn't have a particularly lumpy idle in the first place.

i'm swaying towards a Shark map myself - would anyone be able to give an opinion if you need to have the DSG box mapped as well to get the most out of it? Some people say you have to as the box has a torque limiter, others (Angel Tuning in Banbury for example) say to leave the DSG box well alone as it causes too many problems, and the torque limiter is in the ECU itself....
Would love to hear opinions to help sway my decision
Cheers!
Give Shark a call and ask. At least you'll get a straight answer straight from the horses mouth. They're really helpful.

You'll have seen my Yeti then
Yup. Looking pretty sweet!! Not quite as nice as that green scirocco outside though. That looks an absolute machine!!

Revo all the way, I rang and spoke to Shark and they didn't fill me with confidence, and quite a bad attitude on the phone not very helpfull, business maybe comes a bit to easy for them I don't know but Revo for me.
This was an option for me. Initially the price was the biggest point, however with the Revo winter sale and the offer of free fitting on the DV and coil packs there wasn't much in it. On another day Revo may well have won out...

So yesterday I travelled to Mansfield and had the remap installed on my car. Whilst I was there I changed out the coil packs and the DV.
With the snow being reasonably heavy in and around Hull it's been difficult to really gauge the difference however I did have a play on the way home yesterday.
First impressions are good, acceleration is much more progressive whilst remaining smooth but sustaining right through the rev range. It doesn't quite give you the shove in the chest surge that I expected, when I had my Focus ST remapped the difference was night and day and the power increase was glaringly obvious that said it transforms the car from a sensible family car to a hot hatch more than capable of holding its own.
All in all its £300 well spent.

Too late! If anyone drops out I'll have one!

Yes they are
What are you willing to take for them?
£50 posted?

Still for sale?

My car previous to the Octavia. A stage 3 + Focus ST. 310bhp. Made me smile every time I got in it!
-
Postage is another £28 on top of that. Might as well just get an LCR splitter from your local seat dealer for 40 notes.
-
Are these the uprated ones? Or just a colourful version of the standard coil?

Mine is a 2006 and has 116k on with full service history. Full bill of health today as well on its latest service.
I think 12k a year is 'average' mileage but with good service history and careful ownership then there's no reason you shouldn't buy one with higher miles.

Update to the above.
Turns out I had snapped the original mounting bolt that attaches the intake to the engine. I don't think it was down to overtightening I think it's either a poor part in general or I just got a bad one.
Either way I cut down a section of M6 thread rod and used some tap washers to replicate the rubber spacer on the original part. Much tighter fit now with the added unfortunate bonus of having to remove when the heatshield arrives...
A bodge job that ends up better than the original part!

Well this kit arrived today. I almost cancelled and went for the Neuspeed despite their similarities but eventually decided to retain my order. Pretty easy to fit, the hose clip on the turbo is a son of a bitch even with clamp pliers. Heat shield didn't arrive so I'll have to fit that at a later date. One slight nightmare scenario, after tightening the thread rod that attaches it to the engine block there was a nice crack sound. I'm going to assume it was the thread rod and not the composite tube.....
Too dark to check the damage at the mo.
Sounds good and should go well with my shark remap.
If I had my time again I'd buy a kit where the filter sits closer to the headlight but this will do for now (unless you see it in the classifieds in a couple of weeks...)

If you find it let me know!! I live in Hull. 4g fine outside in the city centre but despite living well within the advertised 4g area on their coverage map I only manage h at best.
Every time I've called to complain there's been engineering works in my area as one of the masts is faulty...
Yeah right!!

£380 all in at Autotechnica in Hull
Personally I much prefer taking my car to a specialist than a dealer. Personal opinion and I'm sure many others will disagree.

Not very often I come on here now so sorry for the late reply, I see your sorted anyway which is good but if I was to do it again I wouldn't go with a single piece kit I'd go with the mtc kit on ebay and get an itg filter. The auto tech strangled it at top end tbh. I ran it as I got it cheap.
Cheers. I think to compliment my stage 1 remap it'll be fine although the mtc kit does look a fairly neat system.
