Don't you need the no canbus error ones?! I'm not sure, the first set I bought did the same as yours, the second set I bought from Autotechnica in Hull and they worked just fine. To be honest the colour difference is pretty negligible anyway.

I siliconed mine back on. That's 3 we've had go between the Octavia and Passat. All in the same way as well.

They most certainly are
they're £3.20 including postage to UK
Matt
Matt can you produce a custom sticker or is it just the ones listed in the post?!

Looking good! Seriously need to get some 18's on mine rather than these smartie sized zeniths it's got on now!

I ordered the 30mm ones a while back, being fitted by AT on 6th June. Got them for 105 delivered in the end. Can't say fairer than that really!

Good Afternoon,
The colour coded bump strips on the doors of my Octavia are quite scratched and damaged. A respray just doesn't seem either economical or practical due to the fact it would mean either removing and refitting the bump strips or spraying each affected door to ensure a full colour match.
With that in mind removing them completely has to be an option, similar to what a few of the Fabia owners have done. I can only find one thread on here relating to the removal of them on Octavias and that's to complete a matte black wrap. Has anyone else done this? I imagine the residue left underneath would be a pig to remove...
It's quite a tall bit of trim so I'm wondering if the gap that will be left will look a bit odd?
If anyone else has done it your advice and any pictures is most welcome!!

A bit higher?!
Mate that is absolutely spot on perfect. Only wish mine sat like that!

Can anything make a Diesel sound good?
Yup, turning the key towards you a couple of turns!

Being firmly rooted in the android corner when it comes to phones I looked around the larger versions of the galaxy tab before eventually settling for an ipad.
Although far more money, after using various devices, it was some way ahead of everything else IMO. I firmly believe that you pay for what you get.

Has come at the wrong time for me! If you've still got these in mid June I'll drop you a PM although I can't see them hanging around. It's the rim style I want and I've got a pretty much mint set of 17" zeniths on at the mo.

People who purchase a new BMW and don't tick the optional extra box that reads 'indicators'...

Ah makes sense now. Good results from a map and an induction though!

Why the big difference between run 1 and 3?!

Sorry to hear that. Some drivers have no idea what a wing mirror is used for. Hopefully you'll have no issues with insurance companies trying to attribute blame elsewhere.
Glad you've walked out ok.

Auto technica in Hull if you're prepared to travel. Charged me £35

I'd bet a hell of a lot that he could carry a damn site more speed through corners than you can should the need arise!

I really like it, front end in particular. Makes it stand out from some of the more mundane hot hatches gracing forecourts nowadays. I'd go back to a fast ford tomorrow if I had the cash so I'm going to say that's a damn good purchase sir!

Stu08
Bought some of the carbon fibre Superskoda splitters from him. Well priced and well packaged. Top bloke.

Personally I think black on black is stunning. I'd go for a satin finish on the wheels though just to give it that slight break in textures.
As for cost I guess it depends on the condition of the alloy and the chosen finish type. As an estimate I reckon 50 ish a corner?

As long as it's got full checkable history and has been well looked after then the mileage will be fine. Imo anyway.

Lol,
You've got a right Frankenstein title going on!

Having attempted my grille surround in Plastidip before eventually succumbing to a professional paint shop I'd have to agree. I'm pretty dire at DIY but fancied my chances with Plastidip. Although the finish was ok, once up close you could see areas of slight bubbling. Couldn't see it lasting against stone chips etc.

I can do this if your still interested mate.. And dont mind a small journey down the m62.. Just finished my full car,Let me know. Jon
The roof wrap?
How much would you want for doing it mate?
Heat with a hairdryer to make more supple they are just pushed I they have too release clips at either side . I just putt my fingers in and pull to the center and out from each side. New ones are only 3.50 each so you could always buy a spare pair and wrap them . When you see the new ones you can see how they are connected
£4.08 now. Bloody Tories! Ordered and booked in to paint shop though. Thanks again!

Looking at his other posts they've come off a 61 plate so I'm assuming the answer to both is yes.
