  1. I run 17" as my winter wheels without problem. It's the same size you mentioned above with et45. Clearance around calipers is a bit tight but should be ok if inner diameter isn't stupidly low.
  2. Stunning car…absolutely stunning What sort of power/torque the gearbox can handle? Have you got a RR printout? Would like to see how the power is delivered. Btw I was going through some car focused websites and came across an article about your car, although I have no idea why they call you “micloi”… https://www.garaz.cz/magazin/novinky/3004137-ukazkovy-sleeper-tato-skoda-superb-si-troufa-i-na-supersporty
  3. Of course. I know what kind of damage DOT can do. Have flooded engine bay under the reservoir with water and some floor cleaner mix in a spray bottle. Not much access there. It's all good but thanks for checking.
  4. Lack of time and moaning from my partner forced me to take it to the garage. They said OSR caliper has small leak around seal and needs sorting out. Full rebuild kit isn't much cheaper then new caliper and because the NSR was really hard to wind in, I bought both rear calipers from Brakes International and it's sorted now. Amazing how new pads&discs&brake fluid improve braking. Plus hand brake works now incredibly well:). Thanks
  5. Sorry if I didn't make it clear. No, both rear pistons were winded in with the tool but the NSR was hard to turn, had to use ratchet attached on the tool to have bigger leverage. Can't see any leaks anywhere.
  6. From the reservoir when I was pushing/winding pistons back in - didn't notice it until brake fluid was dripping on the floor.
  7. Hi I know I'm at wrong section of the forum but the brakes on Octavias are almost the same as on Fabias and over here more techs are hanging around. Yesterday I've fitted new discs and pads all around, using Pagid from ECP. All went well but the brake pedal is now sinking to the floor. First depress goes all the way down, on second depress the pedal gets harder and you can feel a bite point but then pedal slowly sinks to the floor. Hand brake barely works. Before I started I have undone cap on brake fluid reservoir and some fluid leaked when I pushed pistons back in (yes correct tool was used on rear calipers). Level is fine now. NSR piston didn't want to go in easily. Had to use ratchet on the tool to wind it in. What could be the problem? Damaged seal on the rear caliper? Master cylinder (can't see how this could get damaged)? Going to drop it off at garage for bleed but want to know what it could be. Thanks
  8. Could be, that's why I wrote "I think" :D. I know about few cars which are running fine with 150k miles on clock on original fuel filter. To be honest I always change oil and all filters (ell except pollen filter) once an year. They're not so expensive and it gives me warm feeling that I do something good for my car.
  9. I think it's every 60000 but if you're not experiencing any problems associated with fuel starvation just do it next time you'll be servicing the car.
  10. Any particular reason why using flac in car? Don't get me wrong, I store all my music in flac format too but only for listening on my audio system in quiet home enviroment. But sound insulation is fairly poor on octavias so to tell the difference between flac and avarange quality of mp3 is impossible, especially when on motorway. Plus speakers are not the best either. But to stay on topic, android unit would be safe bet (and cheapper).
  11. Out of curiosity have you got any log snas from the car? Just curious what the fault codes are. Thanks
  12. Could be many things like Sticky brakes Wheel aligtment Timing Mass air flow sensor Worn injectors or not set properly EGR Boost leak Coolant and fuel temp sensor (or thermostat) I would start with checking the timing and brakes
  13. Depends how much the seals are worn out but as a cheap, temporary solution you can add a ptfe tape, which plumbers use on radiators etc, under the seal to increase overall diameter. Worked for me well enough.
  14. Mike, you talking about the flap on the left of the pollen filter, correct? How did you make access to that screw which is behind the flap motor on the top? To the OP Temp flap motor is located on the end of central console, under the radio. To gain access you have to remove ashtray and side panel of the central console. At least you'll see if you can do it yourself or it's a job for local garage.
  15. lol I'm glad you're having good time lol. If you are building a supra, lol, why asking how to get more power, lol? Any other turbo charged car, lol, is essentially the same in term of getting more power from it, lol. Again depends on how much power you want from it. As said before, remap will take you up to 140bhp, PD150 (gt1749vb) around 170-180. Stock intercooler is sufficient enough until you get to silly power band so I don't see any benefit from it on stock or "small" hybrid turbo. Price/power wise you better off getting hybrid+remap rather than intercooler+remap.
