I used some Durabase Matting from Topps Tiles
http://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod8778/section0/Durabase-CI-Matting-1m2
It seems to do the job, it is a bit pricey but better than the tiles cracking, it goes straight down on top of the chipboard flooring.

Does this fit in a Furby?
yes, i have just put one in mine.
will need some coding for the sat nav instructions to show on the maxidot screen (if you have it)

Just fitted my winter wheels and I need 2 new summer tyres for the Fabia, any recommendations?
I am looking for good grip rather than good price, I have got the Sport contact 2 it came with on at the moment (on the summer wheels) but was wondering if there was something with better grip as its all to easy to wheel spin unless its a dry road.
anyone tried Sport Contact 5, is it any improvement on the 2?

Yeti II will have this same sort of line and narrow rear glass mark my words... Sad but true.
oh well perhaps I will have to go for the new larger SUV whatever its called! I don't think a squashed Yeti will be big enough for me.
-
Why do manufacturers seem to think all cars need a squashed roof with a letterbox rear window ?
That is what puts me off a lot of cars, another Yeti is the only thing I can see at the moment to replace mine.

I normally fill up with 5 or 10 miles range left and vent the tank to get between 50 - 55 litres in.

both my cars have DSG, I wouldn't get anything else but you get dinosaurs like this giving dud advise!
I had a Superb L&K as a loan once, made a nice change from the base spec Roomsters they normally hand out, very nice car but a bit big after a Fabia!
Honest John is clueless. All of the quality car makers like Mercedes and BMW are now using their own versions of DSG as it is clearly the best system.
yes according to him my Fabia VRS is about the worst car you can buy, he doesn't like the gearbox and he doesn't like the engine, funny that its the best car I've owned!

if you get offers for the other parts I would be interested in the Columbus Sat Nav and GPS antenna.

i have used it when working in the area, if it saves a few miles driving its worth waiting for a ferry (not an hour as even in London you can get a fair way in that time) if you are nearby and you want to get somewhere near to the docking on the other side it saves a lot of driving and its makes a nice change to fighting London traffic.

I can move?
i was wondering if it could be mentioned in general car chat to get more people looking at it.
-
No idea until I have an idea of units and numbers.....the more people interested the better possibility of a BIG discount.
Is it worth mentioning this in general car chat? I only came across this by chance as I don't often look in this section of the forum.

Will this fit a 2013 Fabia?
I have been reading reports of fitting of a Columbus into a Fabia and it looks like the Octavia has a different shape unit, do you know if this is true or are they all the same?
Thanks

I am thinking of putting a Columbus in my Yeti, will any Columbus fit and is the only other part i need the new facia?
i have got a Bolero in it at the moment but after puting a Columbus in my Fabia i'm quite keen to update the yeti.
